Zareei,Mahdi

Overview

Mahdi Zareei received his M.Sc. degree in Computer Networks from the University of Science, Malaysia, in 2011, and his Ph.D. degree from the Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, in 2016. He joined Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2017 as a Postdoctoral Fellow, where he currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering and Sciences. His research lies at the intersection of applied artificial intelligence and information security, with a particular focus on trustworthy and secure AI systems, machine learning for cybersecurity, and natural language processing applications. He is especially interested in translating AI theory into practical solutions for real-world data-driven and security-sensitive domains. Dr. Zareei has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications, with more than 3,300 citations and an h-index of 34. He is a member of the Mexican National Researchers System (SNI, Level I) and serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Access, PLOS One, and Ad Hoc & Sensor Wireless Networks.
