Graduate in Psychology and Master in Health Psychology from the University of Guadalajara, Doctor in Psychology from the University of Guanajuato. She is currently the Regional Director of the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology at Tecnologico de Monterrey, Western Region; and an adjunct researcher in the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Innovation group in chronic degeneration diseases, of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She is a member of the National System of Researchers Level 1. She is the author of scientific articles and books on health psychology topics. She coursed an internship at the San Carlos Clinical Hospital in Madrid and with the "Personality, stress and health" group at the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain. Member of the Academic Aspects Team of the Clinical and Health Psychology Career at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, of the Mexican Association for the Study of Psycho-Oncology (led by INCAN) and member of the Research Group for Online Interventions for Latin America and Spain (ITLAS Group). Member of the United States Latin American Cancer Research Network (2009-2020).
