Dr. César David Reséndiz Calderón holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and has been a Research Professor (SNI Level I) at the Department of Mechanical and Advanced Materials at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Toluca, since 2021. He is a member of the Industrial Transformation Research Group and serves as part of the academic faculty of the Ph.D. in Engineering Science and the Master¿s in Nanotechnology programs.
His work focuses on tribology, surface engineering, and materials characterization, with particular emphasis on manufacturing processes and their applications in mechanical and biomedical fields. Dr. Reséndiz Calderón is the author of 24 scientific papers published in international Q1 and Q2 journals (h-index = 12) and has participated in research projects with a cumulative funding exceeding 5 million pesos, including one externally funded project currently in progress (1.1 million pesos) and a technical consulting project related to his research area (1.2 million pesos).
He supervises undergraduate and graduate students in research activities and actively promotes their involvement in scientific projects oriented toward technological innovation and industry collaboration.
