Crispín-Acuña, José Carlos

Overview

Jose C. Crispin obtained an M.D. from the National University of Mexico (UNAM). In 2007, after completing an Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship in Mexico, Jose moved to the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston as a postdoctoral research fellow. In 2012 he became Assistant Professor of Medicine in Harvard Medical School. His work is focused in the identification and analysis of genetic and molecular alterations that contribute to the pathogenesis of systemic lupus erythematosus.
