Overview

I studied the Bachelor in Computer Systems Engineering from ITESM Campus Laguna. Later I got the Master Degree in Computer Science at ITESM Campus Monterrey within Campus Laguna's Future Teachers Program . As part of this program I worked part time at the Informatics Research Center in Campus Monterrey, within the area of ??expert systems. When I finished my master, I joined to Campus Laguna as a teacher in the area of ??Computing, since 1989. I had the opportunity to study a PhD in Artificial Intelligence in Campus Monterrey from 1995 to 2000, supported by Campus Laguna and Conacyt. I developed my thesis in the area of ??Artificial Intelligence applied to education, specifically in the development of a collaborative learning environment for conceptual modeling of databases supported by intelligent agents. In 2001 I rejoined Campus Laguna within the Engineering Division, teaching courses in Information Technology. I have been involved in software development projects focused lately in geo-referenced information systems for business and education. I want to keep learning, share what I know and apply my knowledge to support the development of my community.
