López-Salinas, José Luis
Overview
Resumé:
Dr. Jose Luis López Salinas is assistant professor in Monterrey Tec, earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from UANL, M.Sc. from Monterrey Tec, and received his PhD from Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department at Rice University (2012), as 2006-2010 Roberto Rocca's fellow he worked on EOR processes, foam transport and interfacial phenomena under the supervision of Dr. George Hirasaki and Dr. Clarence Miller. Lecturer at Rice University from 2012 to 2014 and research associate in Prof. Hirasaki's group on foam transport in fractured porous media for EOR applications at harsh conditions of salinity and temperature, focusing in carbonate reservoirs located in Cantarell and KMZ. Areas of interest are transport of multi-phases in porous media, interfacial phenomena and colloidal science. Dr Lopez belongs to SNI since 2016
