Ceciliano-Meza, José Luis

Bachelor of Actuary (1993) from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Master of Science with a specialty in Industrial Engineering (1997) from the University of the Americas Puebla (UDLAP), and Doctor of Philosophy with a specialty in Industrial Engineering (2006 ) from Wichita State University (WSU). He worked at INEEL (IIE) from 1994 to 2021, where he specialized in the development and management of projects related to the planning of the expansion and operation of the electrical power systems, using mathematical optimization techniques. Participated in the development of the models and algorithms of a the day ahead and real time Wholesale Electricity Market of Mexico. From August 2007 to May 2021 he was a professor at the ITESM Campus Cuernavaca, and on June 2021 he joined as a full-time professor at the ITESM Campus Sonora Norte.
