Vanoye-García, Ana Yael
Overview
BSc in Chemical Engineering with minor in Administration, Master of Science specializing in Environmental Systems, and Doctor of Engineering Sciences, graduated from Tecnológico de Monterrey. She has completed academic stays at the University of Texas at Austin, Georgia Institute of Technology, and the University of California at Irvine. She has scientific publications in the areas of air quality modeling, climate change, and educational innovation. Since 2011, she is a professor in the Departments of Sustainable Sciences and Technologies and Civil Engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Monterrey. She has worked as an environmental consultant for industry, organizations, and local governments, and actively participates in civil associations such as Fomento a la Cultura Ecológica FOMCEC, A.C., and the Alliance for Climate Action of the Metropolitan Area of Monterrey. She served as Coordinator of the National Youth Water Prize in 2020 and 2021. She recently worked as Coordinator of Climate Change Adaptation in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, and as a Subject Matter Expert on educational innovation management processes at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
