I am a Research Professor at Campus Monterrey. I am an Engineer in Biotechnology and a hold a PhD in Biotechnology. I did postdoctoral research work at Tecnológico de Monterrey during 2 years and at University College London (Top 10 in the world rankings) over 4 years.
My research lines revolve around the application of novel techniques in bioprocessing:
- Techno-economic modelling of bioprocesses
- 3D printing of tools to be applied in bioprocesses
- Fermentation of wastes for the production of "single-cell protein" for food industry
