Jose Alejandro Galaviz-Aguilar received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in digital systems from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), Mexico, in 2013 and 2017, respectively. From 2014 to 2016, he was a visiting scholar in the Nonlinear RF Research Laboratory of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The Ohio State University (OSU), Columbus, OH, USA. He is a member of Mexico¿s National System of Researchers (SNI) and a Senior Member of the IEEE. He is currently a Research Associate with the Research Group on Telecommunications at Tecnológico de Monterrey and an RF Research & Development Engineer in the Department of Electronics and Communications at Télécom Paris, Paris, France. His research interests include FPGA design and development, nonlinear RF/microwave device characterization and measurement, behavioral modeling, digital predistortion for power-amplifier linearization, and digital signal processing for energy-efficient wireless communication systems.
