González-de Alba, Alejandro

Overview

Dr. González graduated from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in 2007. From 2009-2011 he recieived a scholarship from the EU to attend the Masters program: Advanced Robotics (EMARO). He began his doctoral studies in 2011 at the The Montpellier Laboratory of Computer Science, Robotics, and Microelectronics and graduates in 2014. He held a CONACyT National Research Fellowship from 2016 to 2021 at the University of San Luis Potosi. There, his research focused on medical applications of robotics, modelling human motion, as well as humanoid robot control. He also worked as a mechanical engineer at CIATEQ and a software engineer for the French start-up ShakMoov. He has taught at an undergraduate and graduate level in France and in Mexico, directed 5 Masters thesis, authored over 40 research articles (11 in JCR indexed journals), and is part of the Mexican National Research System.
