I am a Research Developer at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where I facilitate the connection between innovative ideas and the funding needed to make them a reality. I identify funding opportunities, develop persuasive proposals, and coordinate teams to ensure that research projects receive the necessary support. My role is crucial in the research world, as funding is essential to carry out studies that can have a significant impact on society. By securing funding for promising projects, I directly contribute to advancing knowledge and developing innovative solutions to today¿s challenges. In addition to my experience in proposal writing and project management, I also possess strong communication, collaboration, and networking skills. I am committed to the success of the projects I work on and am excited to continue contributing to the advancement of research and innovation, as well as to the scientific growth of Tecnológico de Monterrey. As a researcher, my experience focuses on Microbiology, with specialized projects in predictive microbiology to evaluate the effectiveness of food preservation in household refrigerators, biomass production of filamentous fungi as biological control agents, and the generation of high-value compounds from fungi, such as enzymes and bioactive molecules. I have also worked on the valorization of agro-industrial residues through solid-state fermentation technology and the extraction of high-value metabolites using supercritical CO¿. With 29 publications, including 27 in indexed scientific journals and 6 book chapters, my expertise in the field is well recognized. I am confident that my knowledge in food science and microbiology, supported by my research experience, makes me a valuable asset to any team.
