Appointed as a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford between 2019 and 2020, heis interested in environmental remediation through unconventional methods based on nanotechnology and confined systems. Likewise, it works on the development of new technologies for the use of renewable resources and the development of new energy production methods. With a background in Biopharmaceutical Chemistry, he obtained his Master's (2011) and Ph. D. (2015) in Environmental Engineering, UNAM, Mexico.
He has carried out various research stays at high-quality institutions at an international level: Texas A&M (2015) and Indian Institute of Technology (2011, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2019).
He was a full-time professor-researcher at the Universidad Politécnica del Valle México in the Division of Engineering in Nanotechnology and Biotechnology and has been a teacher at the Faculty of Chemistry, UNAM since 2016. Currently he collaborates in bilateral Mexico-India projects CONACyT-DST and forms part of the CONACyT thematic network of nanosciences and nanotechnology. Today it has more than 36 publications and is part of the National Research System (SIN 1) since 2016.
