I am a research professor at the School of Engineering and Sciences at Tecnológico de Monterrey, campus Monterrey.
My research focuses on the green chemistry synthesis of nanomaterials with applications in various areas:
a) Nanomedicine: the use of noble metal nanoparticles (Au, Ag, Pt, Pd) and bimetallic nanoparticles as anticancer and antibacterial agents, as well as in the fabrication of biosensors.
b) Electrocatalysis: the application of nanostructured transition metal oxides in biosensors and energy.
I have served as principal advisor and co-advisor for over 15 undergraduate theses in the INCQ program. I am the author of over 35 documents indexed in Scopus, and my h-index is 18. I have been a member of the SNII since 2017.
