Piñal-Moctezuma, Juan Fernando
Overview
Fernando Piñal obtained his Ph.D. in electronic engineering from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya within the Motion Control and Industrial Applications group in 2019, and the Master and Bachelor degrees from the Universidad Autónoma de Puebla in 2013 and 2008 respectively. He counts with more than eight years of industrial experience as an R&D engineer, automation chief, and manager of engineering for major Mexican companies, as well as a system validation engineer for Intel. His current research interests are focused on signal processing strategies, high-performance hardware, and the acoustic emission phenomenon. At present, he is a member of the Mexican national system of researchers (SNI) of CONACyT as a candidate. Fernando is with the Tecnológico de Monterrey since may 2021.
