Ibarra-Moyers, Luis Miguel

Luis Ibarra graduated with honors as a Mechatronics Engineer in 2011 and obtained a Ph.D. in Intelligent Control with outstanding thesis recognition in 2016, both from Tecnológico de Monterrey. He has participated in numerous consulting activities related to monitoring and control equipment for power systems and electrical machinery, automation systems, and distributed resource deployment planning. Currently, he is a Professor at the Institute of Advanced Materials for Sustainable Manufacturing at Tecnológico de Monterrey. In addition, he is a founding partner of a technology and software development company. His research interests are power systems, automatic control, electrical machines, signal processing, and applied artificial intelligence. Dr. Ibarra is a member of the Mexican National System of Researchers (SNI) level 1.
