Flores-Segovia, Miguel Alejandro

Overview

Dr. Miguel Flores holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Essex, UK, and a PhD in Demography from the University of Texas, USA. Dr. Flores has extensive experience in applied research development and consulting projects, having held various positions in both the public and private sectors. He has conducted research stays at the GeoDa Center for GeoSpatial Analysis and Computation at Arizona State University and the Center for International Development (CID) at Harvard University. His areas of expertise include regional economics, applied economics, statistics, and spatial econometrics. Since 2012, he has served as an adjunct professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Currently, he is a full-time Research Professor in the Department of Economics at the School of Social Sciences and Government at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
