Menchaca-Torre, Hilda Lizette

Overview

I hold a BS in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Industrial Engineering from Tec de Monterrey, and graduated with Honors. While studying at Tec, I was part of the program ALPHA. I also hold a Master's in Environmental Systems (2006) and a PhD in Engineering Sciences, both focused on Environmental Pollution. During my postgraduate, I studied atmospheric pollution and its effects. I have published articles in national and international journals. In 2015, I received the Candidate recognition given by CONACYT, which I had for two years. I have co-chaired several graduate students at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. I was a professor at Prepa Tec Santa Catarina in 2006 and at Prepa Tec Cumbres in 2008-2009. Since 2015, I have taught at the Department of Sustainable Technologies and Civil Engineering and the Department of Mechatronics. Additionally, I am the Sustainable Development Engineering Program Director since 2022.
