Pacheco-Velázquez, Ernesto Armando

Overview

Ernesto Pacheco is a Mathematician, graduated from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara. He completed his Master's degree in Education with a specialty in Mathematics at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). He also did a Master of Science with a Specialty in Industrial Engineering (where he received honorable mention) and completed his doctoral studies in the area of Operations Management. He defended his doctoral thesis in January 2004, and his dissertation topic was the creation of a non-linear programming model to measure the rationality of the Mexican voter. For this work, Ernesto received summa cum laude, and for his grade point average he was awarded "The Tower of Excellence", a recognition that is offered once a year and is given to the best grade point average of the generation.
