Galván-Galván, José Alfredo

Overview

Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Business Development Officer and Scientific Diplomacy Leader at the Research, and Scientific Graduate Studies Dean's Office of the National School of Engineering and Science. President of the Software Council of Nuevo Leon, as well as leader of Talent Development Group of the Nuevo León 4.0 initiative. He has leaded positions as Coordinator of Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance, Consultant in Technological Innovation, Research Assistant, Professor-Researcher, Director of Department, Director of Academic Division, and Academic Vice Chancellor, as well as, founder & CEO of his water processing company. His work has focused on the transformation of processes and products; as well as in developing the innovation capacity in both individuals and organizations. Almost 30 years of professional and teaching experience in engineering and technological innovation related to education, automation and design and development of mechatronics products. He got a undergraduate degree as "Mechanical and Electrical Engineering"; a master degree in "Mechanical Design", another master degree and PhD degree in "Engineering and Public Policy" with focus on Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Technological Changes. Likewise, he has been certified in strategy and innovation, tribological tests and surface coatings, infrared spectrography and scanning electron microscope, coating techniques, automation systems, and M2M and IoT communication protocols. He has won several awards for his contributions in intellectual property; for academic performance, for research, for academic administration, and as an entrepreneur.
